Recently, Haiwen & Partners was represented by partners Lan Jie and Zhang Kainan at the 7th Arab Lawyers Forum in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The forum brought together over 800 legal professionals and business leaders from more than 50 countries and 150 institutions. We engaged in thorough and open discussions with peers from the Middle East and around the globe on cross-border investment, regulatory trends, and collaborative opportunities.
As the only Chinese law firm invited to the forum, Haiwen participated in a session titled "A Dialogue on Asia–Middle East Nexus," sharing practical experience and market insights on the expansion of Chinese companies into the Middle East with local lawyers.
During the tour, Haiwen co-hosted professional receptions with Al Tamimi & Company, the largest law firm in the MENA region, in both Riyadh and Dubai. These sessions provided a valuable platform for face-to-face dialogues with numerous Chinese companies that have established a local presence, giving us a firsthand perspective on their practical challenges and needs in investment, day-to-day operations, and regulatory compliance, and share our practical experience and insights.
As ties between China and the Middle East grow increasingly close, rooted in Chinese culture, and globally-minded legal services have never been more important. This Middle East tour once again demonstrated Haiwen’s expertise and strength in supporting Chinese companies in their "Go Global" initiatives.
Go Global with Haiwen, we are here to help you navigate a broader world.
